Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.

  3. Object Number: 664851  Size: SH
  4. Remove the right turbo charged air outlet hose.

  5. Object Number: 664853  Size: SH
  6. Remove the left turbo charged air outlet hose.
  7. Remove the engine wiring harness. Refer to Engine Wiring Harness Assembly Replacement .

  8. Object Number: 755196  Size: SH
  9. Remove the water outlet pipe. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement in Engine Cooling.

  10. Object Number: 791907  Size: SH
  11. Remove the junction block to injection pump line.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 791907  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the junction block to injection pump line.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the injection pump line to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the water outlet pipe. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement in Engine Cooling.

  4. Object Number: 664853  Size: SH
  5. Install the engine wiring harness assembly. Refer to Engine Wiring Harness Assembly Replacement .
  6. Install the left turbo charged air outlet hose.

  7. Object Number: 664851  Size: SH
  8. Install the right turbo charged air outlet hose.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  10. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
