Makes 🢒 GMC_Truck 🢒 2005 🢒 TopKick C-Series (Conventional) C4/C5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 8.1L 🢒 Intake Manifold Removal

    Object Number: 873816 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil fill tube bolt and nut.
  2. Remove the oil fill tube.

    3. Object Number: 470770 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose.

    4. Object Number: 470774 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fuel injection fuel rail bolts and/or studs.
  5. Remove the fuel rail with injectors.

    6. Object Number: 1397564 Size: SH
  6. Remove the intake manifold bolts.

    7. Important: Do not attempt to loosen the manifold by prying under the gasket surface with any tool.

  7. Remove the intake manifold.

    8. Object Number: 1397570 Size: SH

    Important: The intake manifold gaskets are not reusable.

  8. Remove and discard the intake manifold side gaskets.

    9. Object Number: 1309980 Size: SH
  9. Remove and discard the intake manifold end seals.

    10. Object Number: 1309982 Size: SH

    Important: The splash shield is secured using a snap-in fit. Do not distort the splash shield. The splash shield is reusable.

  10. Remove the splash shield.
