Removal Procedure
  1. Support the transfer case with a suitable jack.

    2. Object Number: 1341896 Size: SH
  2. Remove the front transfer case crossmember mount nut.
  3. Remove the front transfer case crossmember bolt and washer.
  4. Remove the transfer case front bracket mounting bolts.
  5. Remove the transfer case front bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1341896 Size: SH
  1. Install the transfer case front bracket to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transfer case front bracket mounting bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the front transfer case crossmember bolt and washer.
  4. Install the front transfer case crossmember mount nut.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 125 N·m (92 lb ft).

  5. Remove the support from the vehicle.
