Removal Procedure
  1. Support the transfer case with a suitable jack.

    2. Object Number: 1341889 Size: SH
  2. Remove the rear transfer case crossmember mount nut.
  3. Remove the rear transfer case crossmember bolt and washer.
  4. Remove the transfer case rear bracket mounting nuts.
  5. Remove the transfer case rear bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1341889 Size: SH
  1. Install the transfer case rear bracket to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transfer case rear bracket mounting nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 110 N·m (81 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear transfer case crossmember bolt and washer.
  4. Install the rear transfer case crossmember mount nut.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 125 N·m (92 lb ft).

  5. Remove the support from the vehicle.
