Removal Procedure
- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to
Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from
the power window motor (2).
- Remove the nuts (3) that retain the power window motor (2) to the front
door module (1).
- Remove the power window motor (2) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the power window motor (2) to
the vehicle.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the nuts (3) in order to retain the power window motor (2) to the
front door module (1).
Tighten
Tighten the retaining nuts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connector to the power window motor (2).
- Install the front door water deflector. Refer to

- Install the front door trim panel. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
