Tools Required

J 42971 Quick Disconnect Tool

1. Drain the auxiliary engine oil filter. Refer to Auxiliary Engine Oil Filter Draining .
2. Place a suitable container under the hose that requires replacement to catch the oil.



3. Disconnect the auxiliary engine oil filter hose from the fitting using the J 42971 . Refer to Power Steering Hose Quick Connect Fitting .



4. Repeat step 3 for the other end of the hose. Refer to Power Steering Hose Quick Connect Fitting .
5. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

1. Install the hose.



2. Connect the hose to the fitting. Refer to Power Steering Hose Quick Connect Fitting .



3. Repeat step 2 for the other end of the hose. Refer to Power Steering Hose Quick Connect Fitting .



4. Remove the vent plug (1) and fill the auxiliary engine oil filter housing.
