For 1990-2009 cars only
- Pump the primer located on top of the fuel filter 30 times or until stiff.
- Attempt to start and run the engine. If the engine does not start, repeat step 1.
- Allow to run for 5 minutes at idle.
- Check for fuel leaks.
- Clear all engine diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
