Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1987000 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the turbo water return pipe (4) bolt.
  2. Remove the harness clip (1) bolt .
  3. Remove hose coming from the air compressor .
  4. Remove the plug adaptor from the engine (2). Discard the O-ring.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1987000 Size: SH
  1. Install a NEW O-ring and plug adaptor (2) to the engine.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the adaptor to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  2. Install the turbo water return pipe (4) and bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the harness clip (1) and bolt .

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the hose to the air compressor.
  5. Start the engine, check for leaks.
