Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 206335 Size: SH
  1. Remove the nuts from the exhaust hanger.
  2. Remove the muffler clamp nuts.
  3. Remove the exhaust hanger from the muffler clamp, if removing the muffler hanger.
  4. Remove the exhaust hanger from the hanger insulator.

Installation Procedure
  1. Lubricate the exhaust insulator hanger hole with GM lubricant 9985007.
  2. Install the exhaust hanger into the hanger insulator.
  3. Remove the excess lubricant from the hanger insulator.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Insert the muffler clamp through the exhaust hanger assembly, if installing the muffler hanger.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the muffler clamp nuts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

  5. Install the nuts to the exhaust hanger.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the exhaust hanger nuts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).
