    Object Number: 1554867 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil pan gasket (404).
  2. Remove the baffle (437) and bolts (436).
  3. Clean the oil pan (400) in solvent.

    4. Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Dry the pan with compressed air.
  5. Inspect the oil pan for the following conditions:
    6. • Drain plug and oil level sensor holes for damaged threads
    • Gouges or damage to the oil pan sealing surfaces
    • Cracks or damage to the exterior of the pan
