    Object Number: 1309940 Size: SH

    Important: Twist the spark plug boot 1/2 turn in order to release the boot. Pull on the spark plug boot only. Do not pull on the spark plug wire.

  1. Remove the right spark plug wires from the spark plugs and ignition coils.

    2. Object Number: 1554872 Size: SH
  2. Remove the right exhaust manifold heat shield nuts and bolts.
  3. Remove the right exhaust manifold heat shield - Family 3.

    4. Object Number: 1554847 Size: SH
  4. Remove the right exhaust manifold heat shield nuts and bolts.
  5. Remove the right exhaust manifold heat shield - Family 2.

    6. Object Number: 1554849 Size: SH
  6. Remove the right exhaust manifold nuts and center bolt - Family 3.
  7. Remove the right exhaust manifold - Family 3.
  8. Remove the right exhaust manifold gasket.

    9. Object Number: 1554851 Size: SH
  9. Remove the right exhaust manifold nuts and center bolt - Family 2.
  10. Remove the right exhaust manifold - Family 2.
  11. Remove the right exhaust manifold gasket.

    12. Object Number: 1554853 Size: SH
  12. Remove the right spark plugs.

    13. Object Number: 1554857 Size: SH
  13. Remove the exhaust manifold studs, if necessary.
