Important

The following must be completed before using the symptom table. Review the system Description and Operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to Air Suspension Description and Operation.

Visual/Physical Inspection

    • Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the air suspension system. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories.
    • Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
    • Inspect the mechanical aspect of the air lines, air springs, and valves for any type of damage, loose fittings, air leaks, and for proper system pressure.
    • Inspect for an open CHASSIS fuse. If open, repair the source of the overload and replace the fuse.
    • Inspect the grounds to be clean and tight and free of corrosion.

Intermittent

Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections.
