Removal Procedure
- Remove passenger side knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement .
- Disconnect the fixed antenna base cable from the radio antenna cable.
- Partially remove the radio and disconnect the antenna cable from the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Attach a long wire to the antenna cable radio connector.
- Pull the antenna cable until the wire can be easily accessed under the instrument panel. Make sure the wire is still accessible at the other end.
- Remove the wire from the antenna cable.
Installation Procedure
- Attach the long wire to the new antenna cable.
- Gently pull on the wire until the cable is accessible.
- Remove the wire from the antenna cable.
- Connect the cable to the radio and install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Connect the fixed antenna base cable to the radio antenna cable.
- Install the passenger side knee bolster. Refer to Passenger Knee Bolster Replacement.
