EGR Coolant Pipe Clamp

Procedure

Using the J 38185 , compress the clamps.

Special Tools

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

EGR Coolant Pipe

Procedure

Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) coolant pipe from the EGR cooler tube.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Coolant Pipe to Thermostat Housing Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
21 N·m (16 lb ft)

EGR Coolant Pipe

Tip

    • Compress the clamp and disconnect the EGR coolant pipe from the EGR cooler tube.
    • When installing the EGR coolant pipe, replace the O-ring seal.
