Removal Procedure
  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Block the wheels.
  3. Remove the nuts, the washers and the bolts.

    4. Object Number: 201619 Size: SH
  4. Remove the trailer connector coupling dummy couplings at the trailer air brake couplings.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 201619 Size: SH
  1. Install the trailer connector coupling dummy couplings at the trailer air brake couplings.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the trailer connector coupling dummy coupling nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  2. Install the bolts, the washers, and the nuts.
  3. Start the engine.
  4. Charge the system air pressure to the governor cut-out point.
  5. Use a soap solution in order to inspect for leaks.
  6. Leakage is not permissible.
  7. Remove the wheel blocks.
