Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 200527  Size: SH
  1. Remove the air compressor. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement.
  2. Remove the nut and the washer from the crankshaft.
  3. Remove the air compressor gear.
  4. Inspect the air compressor gear mounting surface. Replace the air compressor if you detect damage to the air compressor gear mounting surface or the keyway.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 200527  Size: SH

    Note: The air compressor crankshaft gear nut must reach the listed torque at a minimum. If minimum torque is not met the gear could come loose.

  1. Install the air compressor gear.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the air compressor gear washer and the air compressor gear nut onto the crankshaft.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the air compressor crankshaft gear nut to 250 N·m plus 50 minus 0 (185 lb ft plus 35 minus 0).

  5. Install the air compressor. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement.
