Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement Left - LBZ, LLY

Removal Procedure

    Important: After removing the charged air cooler duct, cover the turbocharger opening with tape in order to prevent entry of objects.

  1. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 1334380  Size: SH
  3. Loosen the charged air cooler inlet duct connector to turbocharger clamp (1).
  4. Important: Do not use a screwdriver or other tool to pry the hose loose. The hose can be torn or damaged. Loosen the hose by twisting.

  5. Remove the charged air cooler inlet duct connector (4) from the turbocharger.

  6. Object Number: 1335454  Size: SH
  7. Reposition the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp at the resonator tee.
  8. Remove the PCV hose from the tee.

  9. Object Number: 1335460  Size: SH
  10. Remove the left PCV hose/pipe bolt.

  11. Object Number: 1335462  Size: SH
  12. Remove the left PCV hose/pipe assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1335462  Size: SH
  1. Install the left PCV hose/pipe assembly.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1335460  Size: SH
  3. Install the left PCV hose/pipe bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1335454  Size: SH
  5. Install the PCV hose to the tee.
  6. Position the PCV hose clamp at the resonator tee.

  7. Object Number: 1334380  Size: SH
  8. Remove the tape from the turbocharger openings.
  9. Important: Lubricate the end of the duct prior to installation.

  10. Install the charged air cooler inlet duct connector (4) to the turbocharger.
  11. Tighten the charged air cooler inlet duct connector to turbocharger clamp (1).
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  13. Install the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .

Removal Procedure

  3. Loosen the charged air cooler outlet duct to intake hose clamp.
  4. Important: Do not use a screwdriver or other tool to pry the hose loose. The hose can be torn or damaged. Loosen the hose by twisting.

  5. Remove the charged air cooler outlet duct from the intake.

  6. Object Number: 1335454  Size: SH
  7. Reposition the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp at the resonator tee.
  8. Remove the PCV hose from the tee.

  9. Object Number: 1335456  Size: SH
  10. Remove the right PCV hose/pipe bolt.

  11. Object Number: 1335462  Size: SH
  12. Remove the right PCV hose/pipe assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1335462  Size: SH
  1. Install the right PCV hose/pipe assembly.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1335456  Size: SH
  3. Install the right PCV hose/pipe bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1335454  Size: SH
  5. Install the PCV hose to the tee.
  6. Position the PCV hose clamp at the resonator tee.
  7. Remove the tape from all turbocharger openings.

  8. Object Number: 1334381  Size: SH

    Important: Lubricate the end of the duct prior to installation.

  9. Install the charged air cooler outlet duct to the intake.
  10. Tighten the charged air cooler outlet duct to intake hose clamp.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  12. Install the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .
