Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1923570 Size: SH

    Important: Take care when handling the mass air flow (MAF). Do Not dent, puncture, or otherwise damage the honey well located at the air inlet end of the MAF. Do Not touch the sensing elements or allow anything, including solvents and lubricants, to come in contact with them. A small amount of GM Lubricant P/N 99855406 may be used on the air duct only to aid in installation. Do Not drop or roughly handle the MAF.

  1. Loosen the clamps (2).
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct assembly (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1923570 Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct assembly (3) on the vehicle.
  2. Install the clamps (2).

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Tighten the clamps.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten all clamp screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
