8 Digit GM Part Number:  The scan tool displays the GM 8 - digit part number of the IPC.

Air Bag Lamp:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the air bag indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Antilock Brake:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the ABS indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Battery:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the charging system indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Battery Voltage:  The scan tool displays 0-19 volts. This is the voltage at the battery positive voltage circuit of the IPC.

Battery Voltage:  The scan tool displays 0-19 volts. This is the voltage at the battery positive voltage circuit of the ECM/PCM.

Battery Voltage:  The scan tool displays 0-19 volts. This is the voltage at the battery positive voltage circuit of the radio.

Brake Lamp:  The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the brake indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Change Engine Oil:  The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the change engine oil indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Check Eng. Oil Level:  The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the check engine oil level indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Check Gages Lamp:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the check gages indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Check Trans. Lamp:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the check transmission indicator as commanded by the TCM.

Chime:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the chime warning as commanded by the chime module

Chime Type:  The scan tool displays Fast/Medium/Medium Slow/Slow/Off. This is the radio chime type as requested by the IPC.

Coolant Level Switch:  The scan tool displays Ok or Low. The ECM/PCM monitors the coolant level switch signal circuit, and a closed switch is displayed as Ok.

Crank Voltage:  The scan tool displays 0 - 19 volts. This is the ignition crank voltage as measured by the IPC.

Displayed Battery Voltage:  The scan tool displays 0 - 19 volts. This is the displayed battery volt gage data as received by the IPC.

Displayed Coolant Temp.:  The scan tool displays -40 to +151°C (-40 to +304°F). This is the displayed engine coolant temperature gage data. This data may differ from the engine coolant temperature from the ECM/PCM.

Displayed Oil Pressure:  The scan tool displays 0 - 550 kPa (0 - 80 psi). This is the displayed engine oil pressure gage data. This data may differ from the engine oil pressure from the ECM/PCM.

Displayed Fuel Level:  The scan tool displays 0 - 100%. This is the displayed fuel gage data. This data may differ from the fuel level from the ECM/PCM.

Displayed Odometer:  The scan tool displays 0 - 999999 kilometers (miles). The scan tool displays the data on the odometer in the IPC.

Displayed Trip Odometer:  The scan tool displays 0 - 9999.9 kilometers (miles). The scan tool displays the data on the trip odometer in the IPC.

ECT Sensor:  The scan tool displays -40 to +115°C (-40 to +304°F). The ECM/PCM monitors the voltage at the signal circuit of the engine coolant temperature sensor. The voltage is inversely proportional to the engine coolant temperature.

Engine Oil Level Switch:  The scan tool displays Ok or Low. The ECM/PCM monitors the signal circuit of the engine oil level switch. An open switch is displayed as Low.

Engine Oil Life Remaining:  The scan tool displays 0-100 percent. The ECM/PCM calculates the remaining engine oil life.

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor:  The scan tool displays 0-5 volts. The ECM/PCM monitors the signal circuit of the engine oil pressure sensor. A high sensor voltage indicates a high engine oil pressure and a low sensor voltage indicates a low engine oil pressure.

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor:  The scan tool displays 0 - 550 kPa (0 - 80 psi). The ECM monitors the signal circuit of the engine oil pressure sensor. A high sensor voltage indicates a high engine oil pressure and a low sensor voltage indicates a low engine oil pressure.

Engine Shutdown Indicator:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the engine shutdown indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Engine Speed:  The scan tool displays 0-9999 RPM. The IPC receives the engine speed from the ECM/PCM via the engine speed signal circuit.

Engine Speed:  The scan tool displays 0-9999 RPM. The ECM/PCM computes the engine speed. It should remain close to desired idle under various engine loads with the engine idling.

Fasten Seat Belts:  The scan tool displays On or Off. The state of the fasten safety belt indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Fuel Level Sensor:  The scan tool displays 0 - 100 percent. The ECM monitors the signal circuit of the fuel level sensor in order to determine the fuel level. A low fuel level sensor resistance will indicate a low fuel level percent.

Fuel Level Sensor:  The scan tool displays 0 - 5 volts. The ECM/PCM monitors the signal circuit of the fuel level sensor. The scan tool displays a low fuel level as low fuel level sensor voltage.

Fuel Level Sensor Rear Tank:  The scan tool displays 0 - 5 volts. The ECM/PCM monitors the signal circuit of the secondary fuel level sensor. The scan tool displays a low fuel level as low fuel level sensor voltage.

Fuel Tank Rated Capacity:  The scan tool displays gallons (liters). This is the fuel tank rated capacity as stored in the ECM.

Glow Plug Relay:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the glow plug relay as commanded by the ECM.

Ignition 0:  The scan tool displays 0-19 volts. This is the voltage measured at the ignition 0 voltage circuit of the IPC.

Ignition 1:  The scan tool displays 0-19 volts. This is the voltage measured at the ignition 1 voltage circuit of the IPC.

Ignition 1 Signal:  The scan tool displays 0-19 volts. The voltage measured at the ignition 1 voltage circuit of the ECM/PCM.

Ign. Since Current DTC:  The scan tool displays 0-50. The IPC counts the number of times the ignition is cycled from the last DTC.

Ign. Since Current DTC:  The scan tool displays 0 - 50. The chime module counts the number of times the ignition is cycled from the last DTC.

Julian Date of Build:  The scan tool displays the 3 digit build date of the IPC.

Last 4 Dig of GM Part #:  The scan tool displays the last 4 digits of the GM part number of the IPC.

Low Coolant:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the low coolant indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Low Coolant Level:  The scan tool displays Yes or No. This is the state of the coolant level as monitored by the ECM/PCM.

Low Oil Lamp Command:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the low oil level indicator as command by the ECM/PCM.

MIL Command:  The scan tool displays On or Off. this is the state of the MIL indicator as commanded by the ECM/PCM.

Monitored Coolant Temp.:  The scan tool displays -40 to +151°C (-40 to +304°F). This is the ECM/PCM monitored engine coolant temperature data as provided to the IPC via the class 2 serial data link.

Monitored Fuel Level:  The scan tool displays 0 - 100%. This is the ECM/PCM monitored fuel level percent provided to the IPC via the class 2 serial data link.

Monitored Oil Pressure:  The scan tool displays 0 - 550 kPa (0 - 80 psi). This is the ECM/PCM monitored engine oil pressure data as provided to the IPC via the class 2 serial data link.

Overspeed Lamp:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the overspeed indicator as commanded by the IPC.

PRNDL State:  The scan tool displays the PRNDL position of the vehicle. This is the state of the PRNDL display as commanded by the IPC.

Reduced Engine Power:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the reduced engine power indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Reduced Engine Power:  The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The scan tool will display Active when the ECM/PCM receives a signal from the TAC module that a throttle actuator control system malfunction is occurring.

Trip Reset Switch:  The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. The IPC monitors the trip reset switch. A closed switch is displayed as Active.

Vehicle Speed:  The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h (0-155 mph). The IPC monitors the vehicle speed signal circuit from the ECM/PCM.

Vehicle Speed Sensor:  The scan tool displays 0-255 km/h (0-155 mph). The ECM/PCM monitors the signal circuit of the vehicle speed sensor.

Wait to Start:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the wait to start indicator as commanded by the ECM.

Water in Fuel:  The scan tool displays On or Off. This is the state of the water in fuel indicator as commanded by the IPC.

Year Module Built:  The scan tool displays the 4 digit number which corresponds to the year that the IPC was manufactured.
