Multiuse Module Bracket Replacement Reposition

1. Remove the air cleaner layer. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .



2. Remove the accumulator bottle bracket retaining nuts and position the bottle out of the way with lines connected.



3. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers and reposition wiring harnesses.



4. Remove the MAXI fuse block and relay center retaining bolt and position out of the way.
5. If equipped, remove the 2 harness bracket nuts and harness bracket from the cab.



6. Remove the 4 multi-use bracket nuts. Reposition the control module bracket to the service position and reinstall 2 of the fasteners.

1. Reposition the multi-use module bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the multi-use module bracket nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

3. If equipped, install the harness bracket with 2 nuts.



4. Reposition the MAXI fuse block and relay center.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

5. Reposition the wiring harnesses.



6. Install wiring harness retainers.



7. Reposition the accumulator bottle in the accumulator bottle bracket.
8. Install the accumulator bottle bracket nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

9. Install the air cleaner layer. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .
