Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1986996 Size: MH
  1. Remove the ECU bracket.
  2. Remove the fuel supply hose (13).
  3. Remove the bolt (9) and nut (3).
  4. Remove the pipe retaining clips (10, 11).
  5. Remove the I bolt (2). Discard the washer.
  6. Remove the fuel supply pipe (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1986996 Size: MH
  1. Position the fuel supply pipe (1) and hand tighten the I bolt (2). Use a NEW washer on the I bolt.
  2. Install the fuel pipe clips (10, 11) to the fuel supply pipe (1).

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the fuel supply pipe retaining bolt (9) and nut (3).

    4. Tighten

        • Tighten the I bolt to 17  N·m (13 lb ft).
        • Tighten the fuel supply pipe retaining bolt and nut to 9  N·m (80 lb in).
  4. Install the fuel supply hose (13).
  5. Install the ECU bracket.
  6. Start the engine, and confirm fuel is not leaking from the connections.
