J 9886-01 Door Handle Clip Remover

1. Use J 9886-01 in order to remove the window regulator handle, if equipped.
2. Remove the door trim plate. Refer to Rear Door Trim Plate Replacement.
3. Remove the screws from the pull handle. Refer to Pull Handle Replacement.



4. Lift up on the front door trim panel in order to release the retaining tabs on the front door trim panel.
5. Remove the door trim panel from the vehicle.

1. Install the door trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Align the retaining tabs on the front door trim panel with the holes in the door.
3. Push on the retaining tabs in order to lock the retaining tabs into place.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




4. Install the screws to the pull handle.

Tighten
Tighten the pull handle retaining screws to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).

5. Install the door trim plate. Refer to Rear Door Trim Plate Replacement.
6. Install the window regulator handle (1), if equipped.
