Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 809356 Size: SH
  1. Remove the 2 bolts that retain the seat belt to the seat. If equipped with front air suspension seat.
  2. Remove the bolt retaining the seat belt to the rear seat shoulder belt guide adjuster.
  3. Remove the pillar upper garnish molding. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.
  4. Remove the pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.
  5. Remove the seat belt clip from the body panel.

  6. Remove the bolt retaining the seat belt retractor to the body panel.
  7. Remove the seat belt retractor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 809351 Size: SH
  1. Install the bolt securing the seat belt retractor to the body panel.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 55 N·m (40 lb ft).

  2. Install the seat belt clip to the body panel.
  3. Install the pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.
  4. Install the pillar upper garnish molding. Refer to Upper Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.
  5. Install the bolt securing the seat belt to the rear seat shoulder belt guide adjuster.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt to guide adjuster bolt to 55 N·m (40 lb ft).

  6. Install the 2 bolts that retain the seat belt to the seat. If equipped with front air suspension seat.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt to seat bolts to 55 N·m (40 lb ft).
