Removal Procedure
- Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner and rotate the arm counterclockwise.
- Remove the drive belt.
- Slowly release the tension on the drive belt tensioner.
Installation Procedure
- Route the belt over all the pulleys except the drive belt tensioner.
- Observe belt routing for vehicles without air conditioning.
- Observe belt routing for vehicles with air conditioning.
- Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner and rotate the drive belt tensioner arm counterclockwise.
- Install the belt over the drive belt tensioner pulley.
- Slowly release the tension on the drive belt tensioner.
- Confirm that the belt is properly routed.
