Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.

  2. Object Number: 277523  Size: SH
  3. Remove the air inlet grille panel weatherstrip.
  4. Remove the air inlet grille panel screws (2).
  5. Remove the windshield hoses and nozzles.
  6. Remove the 3 cowl vent grille panels (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 277523  Size: SH
  1. Install the windshield washer hoses and the nozzles to the air inlet grille panel grille. (1)
  2. Install the 3 air inlet grille panels (1) to the vehicle.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the air inlet grille panel screws (2).
  5. Ensure that the nuts below the center panel are in place with the square nut second from the right.

    Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the air inlet grille panel weatherstrip.
  7. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
