Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Replacement Luxury

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 311575  Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  2. Remove the bracket bolt, access can be gained through the hole at the top of the grille.
  3. Remove the outside air temperature sensor (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 311575  Size: SH
  1. Install the outside air temperature sensor (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bracket bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the radiator grille screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector (2).

Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Replacement Base

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left and right park/turn signal lamp assemblies.
  2. Remove the screws from the radiator grille.
  3. Remove the radiator grille.

  4. Object Number: 311575  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  6. Remove the outside air temperature sensor screw.
  7. Remove the outside air temperature sensor (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the outside air temperature sensor (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the outside air temperature sensor screw.
  3. Connect the electrical connector (2).
  4. Install the radiator grille.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application.   6. Install the radiator grille screws.

  8. Install the left and right park/turn signal lamp assemblies.
