  1. Open the rear cargo doors.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 294 (TAN) or CKT 295 (GRY) at the cargo door contactor.
  3. Move one power door lock switch to the LOCK position and the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

  1. Close the cargo doors.
  2. Connect a test lamp from CKT 295 (GRY) at the rear cargo door lock motor connector to ground.
  3. Move one power door lock switch to the LOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

  1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 295 (GRY) to CKT 294 (TAN) at the power door lock motor.
  2. Move the power door lock to the LOCK position.
  3. Observe the test lamp.

  4. Move the power door lock to the UNLOCK position.
  5. Observe the test lamp.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

Repair the open in CKT 294 (TAN) or in CKT 295 (GRY) from the contactor to splice S260 or to splice S258. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair the open in CKT 295 (GRY) from the power door lock motor to the contactor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 294 (TAN) from the power door lock motor to the contactor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Open the rear cargo doors.
  2. Connect a test lamp from CKT 295 (TAN) door contactor in the chassis to ground.
  3. Move one power door lock switch to the LOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Connect a test lamp from CKT 294 (GRY) door contactor in the chassis to ground.
  2. Move one power door lock switch to the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Close the Rear Cargo Doors
  2. Disconnect the Cargo Door Motor connector.
  3. Connect a test lamp between B+ and Cavity B
  4. Do the same with Cavity A.

Does the test lamp light with both cavities?

Replace the Rear Cargo Door Lock Motor.

Locate and repair the open in CKT 295 (GRY) between splice S260 and the Cargo Door Contactor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. With a test lamp, back probe between Cavity 3 of the Cargo Door Lock Relay and ground
  2. Move one power door lock switch to the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 56 (BLK) between the Cargo Door Contactor and the Cargo Door Lock Relay. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Locate and repair open in either CKT 295 (GRY) or CKT 294 (TAN) between the contactor and the motor. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Connect a test lamp between CKT 540 (ORN) at the Cargo Door Lock Relay and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Connect test lamp between CKT 253 (BRN) at the Cargo Door Lock Relay and ground.
  2. Move one power door lock switch to the UNLOCK position.

Does the test lamp light?

Connect a test lamp between CKT 150 (BLK) at the Cargo Door Lock Relay and B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the Cargo Door Lock Relay.

Locate and repair the open in CKT 540 (ORN) between the Cargo Door Lock Relay and the PWR ACCY Circuit Breaker. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  1. Disconnect connector C1 from the Body Control Module (BCM) and the Cargo Door Lock Relay.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM (set for continuity) to each end of CKT 253 (BRN).

Is there continuity?

Replace the Body Control Module (BCM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Locate and repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the Cargo Door Lock Relay and ground G400. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Locate and repair the open in CKT 253 (BRN) between the Cargo Door Lock Relay and the BCM. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
