Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
2. Position the rear door window approximately half way down in the door.
3. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)
