Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1708616 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and heat shield from the exhaust manifold.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1708616 Size: SH
  1. Position the exhaust manifold heat shield to the exhaust manifold and install the heat shield bolts and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
  2. Install the left wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side.
