Preliminary Procedure

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement.

Nut, A/C Refrigerant Filter Line

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Fitting, Pressure Line

Tip
Loosen tube fitting and separate the pressure line to access the filter.

Preliminary Procedure

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove the wheelhouse panel - right side. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement - Right Side.

Pressure Line Fitting

Tip
Loosen tube fitting and separate the pressure line to access the filter.

Tip
Remove and discard O-ring. Refer to O-Ring Replacement.
