The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customer may state that the rear windows will operate by themselves at times.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Check the body harness that runs along side of the park brake pedal assembly for a pinched or chaffed wiring harness. This condition may occur when the park brake is applied. Repair the effected wiring and reroute the wiring harness for adequate clearance
from the park brake assembly area.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
