Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/Suburban

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

1. Use the J 38778 in order to remove the rear upper garnish molding.

Insert the J 38778 and work along the front edge of the trim panel from one end to the other.

2. Remove the rear upper garnish molding from the vehicle.

Install the roof rear upper garnish molding to the vehicle until it clicks into place.

Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement Avalanche/Escalade EXT

1. Remove the rear window from the vehicle.
2. Remove the third pillar trim panels. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
3. Remove the plastic push pins (1) from the upper garnish molding.
4. Pull down the upper garnish molding in order to disengage the retaining clips.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.

1. Connect the electrical connector, if equipped
2. Install the upper garnish molding until it snaps into place.
3. Install the plastic push pins (1) to the upper garnish molding.
4. Install the third pillar trim panels. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
5. Install the rear window to the vehicle.
