The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

SERVICE VME

Some customers may note that their 2006 Full Size Pickup or Utility with power AN3 seats only has a 2-way position lumbar switch in a 10-way power seat versus the prior 4-way lumbar position switch in a 12-way power seat. This was a feature change for the 2006 model year where the "torso bolster" adjustment (2-way lateral) feature was eliminated; however, the Escalade and Denali (Y91) models still retain the 4-way lumbar position switch in a 12-way power seat.

Note: P/N for new 2-way pad switch is 19127155.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
