2007 GMC Denali, Denali XL, Yukon, Yukon XL |
with Navigation Radio with CD/MP3 (RPO U3U) or Navigation Radio with CD/DVD/MP3 (RPO UVB) |
Some customers may comment on one or more of the following navigation (U3U) and (UVB) radio concerns:
• | Low volume from either the radio and/or OnStar systems. |
• | Radio displays "Map Disk Error" when trying to operate navigation portion of radio. |
• | Clock will not update itself when the vehicle enters new time zones. |
Do not replace radio for these concerns.
Verify that the Navigation radio has been properly programmed. If reprogramming is needed, use the latest calibration available in TIS2000 version 2.75 or later (Calibrations 15260986 w/ Y91 or 15260985 w/o Y91).
Important:
This may be caused by operator error. Confirm that the map disk is installed in the correct slot located behind the navigation screen. To access this slot, go to the Navigation menu and select the "load map" CD button. Specific instructions and location of this slot can be found in the Navigation Supplement Owner's Manual.
This is normal operation and the radio should not be replaced for this concern. Refer customers to the Navigation Supplement Owner's Manual regarding this feature, which provides the instructions on how to manually change the clock setting.
