Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the windshield pillar moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Remove the center pillar garnish moldings. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Lower the front of the headliner down to access the auxiliary HVAC control processor.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the auxiliary HVAC control processor.
  8. Remove the HVAC control processor from the headliner.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the HVAC control processor to the headliner.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the auxiliary HVAC control processor.
  3. Raise the front of the headliner back into place.
  4. Install garnish moldings. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the windshield pillar moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  8. Install the assist handles, if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement in Interior Trim.
  9. Calibrate the HVAC module actuators. Refer to Actuator Recalibration in HVAC Systems - Automatic.
