The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

SERVICE VME

Some customers may comment that they can detect a buzzing noise at 850-900 RPM which is thought to be coming from the glove box area. Root cause appears to be the oxygen sensor connector "mounted to the underbody" which has no anti- rattle feature. Vibration coming from the exhaust puts the connector in "resonance". When the connector is resonating, it is rocking at the attachment and hitting against the body which results in a buzzing noise entering the passenger compartment. Fix is to install a new connector mounting clip P/N 12110783 ( with anti-rattle feature ) between the right rear O2 sensor harness and the under side of the cab.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
