Condition
Some customers may comment that the radio will switch from XM band to the AM band with no input from the driver. The driver can re-select the XM band and everything operates as normal.
Correction
If the customers vehicle has a black tie radio (RPO US8 or US9), reprogram the radio with updated calibrations. This new service calibration was released with TIS satellite data update version 6.5, available June 12, 2006. As always, make sure your Tech 2 is updated with the latest software version.
