This PI was superseded to update models and remove the statement for the models that are no longer on restriction to make the PI clearer. Please discard PIT4383D.


The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

As part of our ongoing quality improvement process, we are requesting your assistance. Starting on Feb 4th 2008, we will be putting the EBCM and BPMV for the 2-mode Hybrid Tahoe/Yukon on restriction.

Is the problem constant or intermittent?

 

Was the customers concern duplicated? Y/N

(If not, issue needs to be duplicated before proceeding with replacement)

 

List all DTC(s) and specify if they are "Current" or "History Only"

 

Are the codes repeatable? Y/N

 

What PIs / TSBs were performed? (List all)

Document each step of the trouble chart. (Include all voltage measurements)

 

Were there any problems with the trouble tree and where it leads the Tech?
