For 1990-2009 cars only
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Move the transmission rear extension housing up and down.
- Replace the transmission rear mount if the rubber is split or spongy.
If the plate is loose on the crossmember, tighten the mounting bolts.
