Important: Do not reuse the crankshaft balancer bolt. Install a NEW crankshaft balancer bolt during final assembly.

1. Remove the upper radiator shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
2. Remove the drive belt(s). Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
3. Remove the engine cooling fan. Refer to Fan Clutch Replacement in Engine Cooling.
4. Remove the starter assembly. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement in Engine Electrical.
5. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Removal .

2. Install the starter assembly. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement in Engine Electrical.
3. Install the engine cooling fan. Refer to Fan Clutch Replacement in Engine Cooling.
4. Install the drive belt(s). Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
5. Install the upper radiator shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
