The RTD scan tool data display values and definition information can assist in diagnosing RTD related problems, especially when no diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) are stored in memory. A vehicle scan tool data can be compared with the data display values from a known good vehicle in the scan tool data display table. When data from the vehicle differs from the typical data display value, the data definition information will help in understanding the nature of the difference and the source of the problem.

Data

Battery Voltage -- Range: 10.0 - 16.0 Volts: This data refers to the battery system voltage as measured by the suspension control module.

Vehicle Speed -- Range: 0 MPH - 120 MPH (0  KM/H - 193  KM/H): This is the suspension control module measurement of the vehicle's speed from a discrete output from the powertrain control module (PCM).

Ignition 3 voltage -- Range: 10.0 - 16.0 Volts: This is the ignition voltage as measured by the suspension control module.

EVO Actuator Desired- Range: counts/Percent : This data is what the suspension control module is trying to achieve.

EVO Actuator Actual- Range: Counts/Percent: This data is the actual value of the actuator.

Steering Position Sensor 1 signal - Range: 0.35 to 4.7 volts: This data is the position of the steering wheel measured in volts.

Steering Position Sensor 2 signal - Range: 0.35 to 4.7 volts: This data is the position of the steering wheel measured in volts.

Exhaust Signal control - Range: ON/OFF: This data refers to the state of the exhaust solenoid.

Compressor Signal control - Range: ON/OFF: This data refers to the state of the compressor motor relay.

RTD Solenoid (shock) -- LF, RF, LR, and RR -- Range: Percent (ON/OFF): This data refers to the state of solenoid contained within the shock.

RTD Position Sensor (body to wheel) -- LF, RF, LR and RR -- Range: 0.35 to 4.75 volts: This data refers to the vehicle hight measured in volts.

RTD Air Leveling Pressure Sensor- Range: 0.15 to 4.85 volts: This data refers to the air within the rear leveling shocks measured in volts.

RTD Indicator - Range: ON/OFF: This data refers to the request by the suspension control module to I/P cluster for the message.
