Diagnostic Aids

When hydraulic fluid is present on the concentric slave cylinder, check for worn or damage seals or other faulty parts of the clutch actuator.

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to the following:
    2. •  Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission NV-3500
    •  Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission NV-4500
    •  Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission ZFS6-650
  2. Inspect the clutch actuator for hydraulic fluid leaks.

Is there a leak on the clutch actuator cylinder?

Go to Step 3

Replace the clutch actuator. Refer to Clutch Concentric Actuator Cylinder Replacement .
