The DIC monitors the DIC internal switch signal circuits in order to perform various functions. The DIC detects a signal activation when the switch circuit is low.
The DIC detects a RAP 1 fuse supply voltage.
The DIC detects that a switch signal circuit is low for greater than 30 seconds.
The DIC ignores the malfunctioning switch circuit.
