Pressure Relief Valve Replacement Utility
Removal Procedure
Open the lift gate.
Remove the outer quarter panel upper applique. Refer to
Quarter Panel Upper Applique Replacement
.
Remove the upper rear garnish molding. Refer to
Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement
.
Remove the corner rear garnish molding. Refer to
Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement
.
Depress the locking tab on the back of the pressure relief valve to remove from the rear of the vehicle.
Remove the pressure relief valve from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Install the pressure relief valve.
Press the pressure relief valve to fully seat.
Install the upper rear garnish molding. Refer to
Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement
.
Install the outer quarter panel upper applique.
Close the lift gate.

Removal Procedure
Lower the end gate.
Remove the rear compartment cover assembly(s).
Remove the cargo box bridge center panel. Refer to
Cargo Box Bridge Cross Bar Replacement
.
Remove the rear side drain duct deflector. Refer to
Deflector Replacement - Body Side Rear Drain
.
Remove the cargo box bridge side inner panel. Refer to
Cargo Box Bridge Side Inner Panel Replacement
.
Remove the cargo box bridge side outer panel. Refer to
Cargo Box Bridge Side Outer Panel Replacement
.
Using a flat-bladed tool, carefully pry the valve loose.
Installation Procedure
Install the pressure relief valve ensuring a snap fit.
Install the cargo box bridge side outer panel. Refer to
Cargo Box Bridge Side Outer Panel Replacement
.
Install the cargo box bridge side inner panel. Refer to
Cargo Box Bridge Side Inner Panel Replacement
.
Install the cargo box bridge center bar. Refer to
Cargo Box Bridge Cross Bar Replacement
.
Install the rear side drain duct deflector. Refer to
Deflector Replacement - Body Side Rear Drain
.
Replace the rear compartment assembly(s).
Close the end gate.
