Rear Seat Operation Extended Model

Easy Entry Seat

Caution: If either seatback is not locked, it could move forward in a sudden stop or crash. That could cause injury to the person sitting there. Always push and pull on the seatbacks to be sure they are locked.

The passenger's side of the second row 60/40 or rear bucket seat on the extended model has an easy entry feature. This makes it easy to get in and out of the third row seat.

To operate the easy entry seat, do the following:

Object Number: 884054 Size: B3
  1. Lift the release lever located on the outboard side on the back of the seat.
  2. Tilt the seatback toward the front of the vehicle and the seat will release.
  3. Push the seat forward until it stops.

Return the seat to the original position when finished. Push and pull on the seat to make sure it is locked in place.
