The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some owners may comment that their chrome grille has stains. The stains may range in color and in most cases look like water stains.
Recommendation/Instructions:
In most cases, these stains can be removed by using GM Goodwrench Chrome Cleaner & Polish (P/N 1050173 US, P/N 993277 Canada) (or equivalent) and following the instructions on the container.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
