The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
If the customer brings in the vehicle with either the codes or the symptoms that are listed in bulletin 07-08-61-004. When you check the part number of the module, you may find out that the part number is 25782667. When you compare this part number to
the numbers listed in the bulletin, the bulletin advises you not to program the module and states that this part number module will not exhibit the concern.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Any vehicle that was built with part number: 25782667 between November 15, 2006 and January 16, 2007 and has a 3-5 second delay before closing, should be SPS programmed with the current software in TIS-2-WEB to resolve the concerns that are listed in bulletin:
#07-08-61-004.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
