The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
As part of our ongoing quality improvement process, we are requesting your assistance. Starting on Feb 4th 2008, we will be putting the EBCM and BPMV for the 2-mode Hybrid Tahoe/Yukon on restriction through the PQC.
Parts on restriction are:
P/N 15879113 Brake Pressure Module Valve Assembly ( Hybrid Vehicles Only )
P/N 25909777 Electronic Brake Control Module ( Hybrid Vehicles Only )
If you need the EBCM or BPMV for a 2-Mode Hybrid vehicle, please have your technician fill out the attached template prior to contacting PQC at 1-866-654-7654.
As of Feb 6th 2008, we will no longer have a parts restriction for the Electronic Brake Control Module and the Brake Pressure Module Valve Assembly for the 2007-08 Full Size Trucks and Utilities. ( Except Hybrid Utilities )
