Replacement of High and Intermediate Voltage Cables

Some vehicles may exhibit impaired or inoperative 300V or 42V systems due to worn or damaged 300V or 42V cables.

Damage to the high or intermediate voltage wiring can come from chafing, slices, overheating, chemical fallout and collision damage.

If the orange high voltage (300V) or the blue intermediate voltage (42V) cables should become compromised, the cable(s) should be replaced. No attempt to repair these cables should ever be made.
