Important: Perform the following steps before beginning the system check:

1. Ensure that the power door lock system operates properly. Refer to Power Door Locks System Check in Doors.
2. Ensure that the Endgate Window Release system operates properly. Refer to Endgate Window Release System Check in Body Rear End.
3. Perform the transmitter test. Refer to Transmitter Test .

If the power door lock system and the transmitter are operating properly, begin the Keyless Entry System Check.

Depress the UNLOCK button on the remote keyless entry transmitter once.

The the drivers door unlocks and the courtesy lamps illuminate.

Depress the UNLOCK button on the remote keyless entry transmitter twice.

All doors unlock (except cargo doors or liftgate) and the courtesy lamps illuminate.

Depress the REAR 2X button twice.

The cargo doors unlock or the liftgate releases and the courtesy lamps illuminate..

Depress the LOCK button on the remote keyless entry transmitter once.

All doors lock including the cargo doors (the liftgate must be manually latched).

Door Lock Inoperative with Transmitter - All
